Babies don't keep

Birth is wild and beautiful and over before you can catch your breath. The contractions pass. The first cries fade. The way you were held, looked at, supported. It all deserves to be remembered - not just the big moments, but the quiet ones too.

My work as a birth photographer is to preserve the moments you’ll never get back: the quiet strength, the joyful tears, the sacred in-between. These photos are more than documentation. They’re a way of treasuring the ordinary, the overwhelming, the earth-shattering.

Because this moment?
It only happens once.

Testimonials

Inviting Clare to capture the birth of our third child, Alora, was one of the best decisions we made in preparing for my delivery. At first, my husband and I were uncertain about having another person in the birth space, but Clare’s calm and supportive presence during my labor and delivery quickly put us at ease. She didn’t just take photos—she captured moments, the raw emotions and beauty of such an intimate experience. Being able to look back at those photos and remember the joy, love, and peace we felt, knowing it was all a gift from God, is something I will cherish forever. These images are more than memories; they are a lasting reminder of the grace and strength that surrounded us during such a profound moment in our lives.

Testimonials

I’ve used four different photographers over the years, and Clare is by far my absolute favorite. She has this lightheartedness about her, an air of humility and yet also confidence. She’s so easy going and lightens the mood, which is great when you have a husband who’s extremely uncomfortable around a camera. She has an eye for detail and will direct you so the pictures are aesthetically pleasing. Clare has arrived early for both of our photo sessions to scope out the areas that would be best to capture pictures. The weather happened to be overcast for our two sessions, and me, being sad about the loss of “golden hour”, didn’t realize she could still make the photos turn out PERFECT. Looking back, my husband and I wish we had booked Clare to do our wedding photos. I’ve never loved more of the photos in a completed, edited gallery than when I get them back from her. I would highly recommend Clare to anyone looking for a photographer, especially if you appreciate beauty down to the little details.
